JEUVEAU (to treat wrinkles)

Jeuveau®️ is a prescription medication that’s injected with the tiniest of needles to relax muscles in your face. Areas targeted are oftentimes the wrinkles in the forehead, between the eyebrows, the crows feet/ smile lines outside the eyes, among other places. Injections with small doses of this medication results in a more youthful, smoother, natural appearance. As we age, our facial features naturally lose some of the structural support and I like the resultant look of an uplifted, awake and refreshed look. Ag your appointment we will discuss your goals, options available & arrive at a plan together. The treatment goes relatively quickly but I have several options available to make you feel more comfortable if you’d like. I usually have music playing, stress relievers to squeeze, a beauty bar that vibrates/ you hold it to your chin or jawline to create a distracting buzzz, I have ice packs you can use beforehand or gently after & I will talk you through the procedure. I won’t sneak up on you with a needle. Promise! So! Then after just 2-3 days, the medication begins “kicking in,” revealing a more youthful appearance. I have had several newbies & other patients with experience using alternative medications but everyone has been very happy with their results. It is my routine practice to schedule a 2 week follow-up appointment to assess your results. At that time, we can do a dose adjustment with additional medication if you’d like &/or use that time to add a treatment to a different area. The recommended timeline to return for your next treatment is every 3 months, in order to maintain the less wrinkly appearance. I’m happy to extend the $40 discount to you every 3 months. I love the results from Jeuveau®️ injections on my patients and on myself as well!

CHEMICAL PEELS

Have you ever had a chemical peel? Chemical peels are essentially a stronger type of exfoliating process. They cause skin cell turnover at an accelerated rate, promoting fresh, new, healthy cells to rise to the surface. Chemical peels are used to improve the appearance of skin issues like wrinkles, fine lines, age spots & uneven skin tone. Chemical peels are done routinely, relatively quickly & under direct supervision. I offer 3 different types of chemical peels made by SkinMedica®️. The peels range from no peeling effect to moderate peel effect, with “some” down time. /think of it like post-Covid exposure, remember? Just hunkering down for a few days :) Chemical peels can be repeated as often as every 2-6 weeks depending on your skincare goals. Try one now and see the difference yourself!

MICRO-NEEDLING

I’m admittedly a little obsessed with micro-needling. The SkinPen®️ is the device I use and it is clinically proven to fight the appearance of wrinkles and reduce the appearance of acne scars. Micro-needling is a minimally invasive procedure performed in-office with little to no downtime. I love offering these treatments using the FDA approved device, SkinPen®️, because I’ve seen really remarkable results. Nobody says it better than SkinPen®️themselves who explains the process as creating “….hundreds to thousands of “micro” skin punctures per second to stimulate the skin’s natural wound healing process – inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling – to prompt tissue remodeling without causing scar tissue formation.”

Before your first treatment, I will review your goals with you so we can establish a plan. Then to start, I will apply a topical numbing cream to make you more comfortable & begin the treatment itself. I will help you recline to a comfortable position & begin the treatment using a glide gel to pass the device along the surface of your skin to target areas of concern. It is a well-tolerated procedure & in my experience & as the data proves, patients are pleased with their results. My patients have reported noticeable improvements after even the first treatment. They tell me their skin feels smoother, looks smoother & that the subsequent makeup applications were more beautiful in the days following the procedure.
